We picked up BBQ for Father's Day, and loved every bite. We ordered brisket, pulled pork and ribs by the pound, then jumbo sizes of beans, coleslaw and zucchini and peppers. Everything was great. We called in advance (about 3 hrs) which was great because they ran out of several things for people walking in (but we got everything for our order)! We'll definitely go back - and will order in advance again!

Food was delicious, the indoor dinning was clean the staff was friendly. After a long day hiking on the Olympic peninsula we were hungry. We went home with happy tummies! Also got to meet this cutie at the door waiting for his humans to get there order! Good dog!

My second time there, tried the brisket this time and it was to die for. The macaroni and cheese with pork in it was delicious, so was the potato salad. I’m going to keep coming back even though it is a bit of a drive for me.

Central Texas native, was skeptical...but your Q is amazeballs! Brisket was close to perfect, and that was the best potato salad I’ve had in years. Sauce is more KC than TX but it’s very good. We’re definitely coming back!

Coming from Chicago I hold the bar pretty high when it comes to food and this place delivers! I couldn’t be happier to get only cilantro and onion on the taco. It’s the only way to eat a taco. However, they were so hot , I could see the steam coming from them. I am so glad someone suggested Danny’s to me!

Hands down the best BBQ in Kitsap County! The brisket is cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. The meats are so good they can stand on their own without the delicious sauce.

Being from Georgia, finding good BBQ is hard. Danny’s hit the spot! I knew I was in the right place when I saw Mustard Potato Salad. The Smokin Mac is amazing!! The cherry on top was they had toothpicks!! All the comforts of a True Southern BBQ!! Thanks Danny’s for the great place to eat!!

First time trying the bbq brisket. It is to die for. Reminds me of Texas BBQ. The sides I had were the beans and the smoked mac and cheese. The beans were just like my Mom's. Very good!!

We enjoyed the smoked mac, spicy sausage, coleslaw, texas toast, and pulled pork. All were amazing! Will definitely add it to our favorites, and will be back! Have to try the brisket, still. And the cornbread, which they had sold out of unfortunately.

We got the brisket sandwich, mac”n”cheese, ribs, chicken, and corn bread (we forgot to order beans). This the best bbq in town, meat falls off the bone, sauce is amazing. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I suggest to try everything then you will know what to order for your regular family meal.

We ordered out tonight for something different. I do have to say it was very good. I pretty picky on “homemade” potato salad. It lived up to its name. I was really impressed it was really good. The servings were generous, sauce was good, meat fell off the bones. I also ordered the pulled pork and it was all meat. They ran out of beans so we will have to try them next time. Mac and cheese was also good. Thanks keep up the good eats.

Went here after work and it was amazing the staff was kind and the food was delicious highly recommend if you get hungry for some good BBQ and you’re in Kitsap county this is a must. The only things I wished they did was fountain sweet tea (they have bottled sweet tea) and bacon poppers.

I reccomend EVERYTHING at Danny's BBQ. Hands down the best in the area by far. Went there for the first time about a week ago and the owner came out and sat and talked with us. That right there speaks volumes to me. An owner who cares about his customers and let me tell you he cares about them because it shows not only in his hospitality but his food is tops! The brisket is AMAZING. The pulled pork is AMAZING. The sides are homeade and are AMAZING. We didnt get the chance to have any ribs or chicken because they were all out for the day but we got that 6 days later when I came back and got it to go so the rest of my family could enjoy such great food. Definitely a family favorite for sure!!! When you go back to an establishment in less than a week, that should tell you its great!

So we love Danny’s BBQ. The brick is our favorite....BUT this time, Our experience wasn’t the best. The gal at the counter today seemed like she really hates her job, and us asking was questions was an inconvenience.

The only reason why I am posting this, is 14 bucks for 2 1/2 ribs? Seemed like we got ripped off a little. The Brick orders we got were huge like normal, and only $8.50, and yet this tiny portion of ribs was $14.00. My picture makes it look like a big box, but it was a little box and the ribs weren’t really that big.

Like I said, normally we love Danny’s but today’s experience was not good.

Threw my Grandmother an 80th Birthday party and since she loves BBQ I knew what I'd be ordering. Her normal favorite place to get BBQ is now out of business so I went looking for a place that had excellent reviews. Danny's popped up and I gave them a shot. We ordered their brisket, ribs and chicken and everyone loved it. Everything was tender and flavorful and spiced perfectly. Ordering was super easy, the people were friendly and helpful and pickup was a breeze. Definitely recommend!

It’s always a risk stopping somewhere for “Texas BBQ” outside of Texas, this place didn’t even come close to matching that. The chicken was dry, the cut of the chicken was all of the burnt ends and nerves, but had a decent flavoring. The potato salad was awful. It tasted more like mustard than anything else. The cole slaw had absolutely no flavor and the pieces weren’t cut small enough to fit a decent bite in your mouth. The “Texas Toast” looks like a bad attempt at buttered bread, only it was very thin and looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. The Mac and cheese was definitely “smoky” but not much more than that. The chopped brisket sandwich and brisket plates were a disappointment as well. The brisket was very dry and was drowning in BBQ sauce to hide that. The $45+ that we spent could have definitely been spent on something better than what was presented to us. The only thing I didn’t have a problem with was the pickles... Those were pretty good. Lol.

First time here, we took our food to go. I got the baby back ribs with mac and cheese, Cole slaw and corn bread, the old man got brisket with potato salad and the mac also. It was hot when we got back to Bremerton, and so delicious! My ribs melted right off the bones, the brisket was so tender and tasty, and all the rest was amazing! He told us we would be back, and we definitely will!

First of all I weny there at 11:00 am the time they open. They did not have anything done. Had to wait 20 minute for the cornbread. I had ordered ribs, cornbread and baked beans to go. When I got home there was no napkins. no forks, spoon and no honey for my cornbread. That place not only sucks in quality but the people that work there are very slow and sloppy.

We had Dannys cater our picnic on Saturday and everything was fantastic. They stayed in communication with me, food was done on time and the portions were amazing. Smoked Chicken was moist, flavorful, slightly spicy. Came with 2 sides, coleslaw and Texas toast. The zucchini and peppers were cooked perfectly, retaining a little bit of crunch.

Brother had rib plate. Very meaty, tender, fall off the bone.

I had Danny's cater my company picnic and it was phenomenal! We had a pig roast with brisket and BBQ chicken.they also did our side dishes - potato salad, Mac and cheese, and corn bread. OMGOODNESS! It was all perfect. Some of the comments I received were "it was the best pig they had ever had." "The food was perfect". I had at least 20 -30 people ask me who did the catering so they could use them at a future event. I could not recommend these guys more. They did an excellent job of set up to clean up. Thank you!!!! You made my event perfect!

Awesome food, Danny is a great host. I had the brisket meal, which comes with 2 sides - I chose the mac and cheese and the beans. The brisket had just the right amount of fat (Danny asked for my preference), was fork tender, with a well defined smoke ring, and it didn't need sauce. The mac & cheese and smoked beans were delicious. Honestly the meal was a bit big for 11:00 A.M., but I tried my best to finish everything and was wrecked for the afternoon. If you haven't tried this place it deserves a visit, and if you've been here you know what I'm saying. 5 stars!

We ordered a to-go meal because our 4 year old was still getting over his cold. We got The Bomb sandwiches, a pulled pork sandwich, and cornbread. It was AMAZING to say the least! My husband and I have been craving good BBQ ever since we came back from a trip to Nashville. We were not disappointed! We tried the brisket and pulled pork and they were amazing! Tender, flavorful and smoky. The Mac and cheese and potato salad were my favorite sides. Overall, great experience. We are going back to try their ribs next!!! 🙂 You have to try this place.

Got ribs, Macaroni and Cheese, and cornbread. Oh my goodness! I can't find anything that compares to Danny's. The boys there are so accommodating. The atmosphere is so warm. The ribs are delusions the seasonings and the bbq sauce is finger licking good. Macaroni and cheese is a unique taste in its own. Service is quick! Please make the right choice and taste some amazing smokin food!

Often I find, (as being a native Southerner), I can't find decent BBQ on the West side of the bay from Seattle. Let's stop for a moment, I look for true BBQ, that mean's low and slow, smoked right falling off the bone when you bite into it. Clarification: when you bite correct BBQ, it should leave only the teeth impression as the whole piece of meat should not come off at once! (Please remember that if the BBQ falls completely off the bone, then it was overcooked; if it is tough and you have to rip the meat off of the bone, then it was not cooked enough). Then this is the restaurant that you are looking for! Chef/Owner Daniel (Danny) Miller is not only a pitmaster, but also graduated from the C.I.A. (No, not that one)! the Culinary Institute of America. He is also is a native Floridian! He not only understands BBQ, but lives BBQ! You ain't going to find hot and fast at this cafe. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. As a traditionalist, I generally judge BBQ on 2 cuts of meat, the ribs and brisket. I have had both from Danny's and quite frankly they are done right and are mouth-wateringly outstanding. His sides like his cole slaw are fresh made and not sitting around for a couple of hours just wilting and getting watery. I won't even go into his sauce which is mind blowingly the best on the west side. This true Texas BBQ and does not need the sauce unless you are just use to it. But the most important aspect of Chef Danny is that he lives by that old culinary standard "You are only as good as the last meal that you put out". His quality control is beyond reproach. If it isn't done right, then he won't serve it! Which is where his CIA training and his numerous years as a personal chef shine through. You won't get a bad meal here. However, you may becaome a fat old former Southern chef like me! Well done and Thank you Chef Danny!

If you're a fan of Texas BBQ, then Danny's is your place. Had "The Bomb" sandwich which was very good. A small menu which is great. My only request is to offer hot links as a entree vice an add-on. Otherwise a great BBQ place.

I know onions can be stronger than others and gets stronger with time in the dish. The beans were on point. I could eat a bowl of these with some hot water cornbread. My partner loved the ribs weren't watered down like alot of places around here. He enjoyed the beans as well and mac and cheese. Prices are a little steep.

Just did a take-out order for the second time at Danny's Cafe and BBQ. Both experiences have been excellent. The brisket is amazing and the pulled pork is delicious too. Even in the middle of packing up a big order for a catered wedding, the staff was friendly and helpful. If you haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out.

Danny's does their meats RIGHT. The ribs were so tender and succulent, and the brisket is amazing. Their proteins are worth it.What isn't worth it are literally any of the sides... The mac and cheese, and coleslaw are mediocre. They're tasty enough, but not worth writing home about. The cornbread is dry as a dessert, and the baked beans are more liquidy soup than anything else.The service is always prompt and polite.So, ultimately, go here, buy some delicious meats, and grab sides elsewhere.

Danny's was amazing. We needed brisket for a 65-guest outdoor event. Danny's had the brisket ready to go on a Saturday morning. We were in the area running some errands and shopping, working up an appetite so we decided to look for a local restaurant to try rather than wait until we got back home. I came across Danny's BBQ on Yelp and after reading the good reviews, decided to stop by and try.When we walked in the employee greeted us and informed us that they were out of chicken for the day, which was fine because we already knew what we wanted. We placed our order, decided to dine in so we sat down at a table and waited for our food to be brought out (which took maybe 10 minutes)!I ordered the pulled pork meal - comes with Texas toast and two sides... I opted for the Mac and cheese and baked beans. My husband ordered the ribs meal with the same two sides, I tried to get a picture of his food - but he was already digging in.The pulled pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The texture was spot on as well, with some softer pieces and some harder pieces. The Mac and cheese was so flavorful, the texture was spot on (not mushy whatsoever or dry). The beans... were phenomenal. You know how some BBQ place have your typical "canned beans" baked beans taste, not these! They almost tasted like chili beans but had pulled pork pieces throughout. The plate as a whole was great and did not disappoint!It is a smaller restaurant with only a handful of tables inside and a few picnic benches outside (for nicer weather days) but luckily alot of customers were ordering to go, so it was just us dining in.Overall, from the food to the service - we'll definitely be back to Danny's BBQ and recommend to anyone!

Their claim to fame is authentic Texas BBQ. I lived in Texas for a couple of years and had my fair share of Texas barbecue. This place was almost as good as Texas BBQ. But being here in the northwest it is as close as you're going to get. It was excellent.We dined in. The seating area was a little cramped but sufficient if it's just you and one other person. Take out is probably the better option.

Quite possibly the best bbq I've had outside of Texas. Not too pricey, but we'll worth what you spend. Make sure you come with an appetite, the portions are pretty big.The brisket is perfectly cooked.The pulled pork is moist and delicious.The beans are ranch style and cooked proper.The Mac and cheese is also really good!And you can't go wrong with the cornbread with a little butter and honey.Will definitely be back!

Wow. Cannot say enough nice things about the food and customer service. I ordered Danny's to support a picnic for about 100 people on Bainbridge Island. I emailed a few weeks ahead of time and placed my order, and my friends picked up the food with my credit card day-of. People were BLOWN AWAY by how good this barbecue was. I ordered two meat platters and a variety of sides, and it fed everyone very comfortably. Every dish received high marks, but the Mac n Cheese was particularly mind bottling. A week later, I still have relatives asking me about Danny's BBQ

I recently dined at Danny's BBQ, and I must say, their ribs and BBQ pork were absolutely delightful! The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The smoky aroma was mouthwatering from the moment I stepped in. The sides were just as impressive, with their creamy and flavorful Mac and cheese and perfectly seasoned baked beans complementing the main dishes perfectly. Hands down the best BBQ in Kitsap County. I've spent a lot of time traveling and living in places famous for their BBQ, such as the Carolinas and Texas, and Danny's is just as good. In particular, their brisket is right on the edge of perfection.

Incredible! The dine in area is very small, but there are picnic tables outside. The BBQ just doesn’t get any better than this. Also, all the sides are homemade and very tasty. :). I had the baby back ribs, baked beans, zucchini and peppers, coleslaw, and potato salad. If I’m ever back in this area, I’m coming back here for sure!

Wow, color me impressed!!I had the 1/2 pound baby back ribs meal. The price and portions were good, but the taste? AMAZESAUCE!! Juicy, fall-off-the-bone ribs with a deep smokey flavor. We're not talking about some painted on sauce, but legit smoke magically infused into the meat.I had the zucchini & peppers side: the garnish of pickled onions adds a new dimension of flavor to an already tasty side, and the veggies were perfectly cooked. I also had the coleslaw and found it good, although not quite as sweet as I prefer.I sampled my wife's smoked mac & cheese, and let me assure you: this is not just a box of Kraft with BBQ sauce! It had a hint of the smokey tastiness that the ribs had, as well as tender tidbits of meat. The corn bread had good flavor but was a bit dry and needed some butter.And, this place was busy! We dined in, and despite there always being at least one person in line, the service was very fast.

I cannot stress this enough, immediately go here and order anything. You won't regret it.Had the brick sandwich and cornbread. It is a very large portion, if you usually can finish a double patty burger, fries and want a shake...you can finish this. If not, good news, it repeats like a dream. This is my "go to" spot for BBQ! I just had the TNT burrito, and my mind was blown. It consists of brisket, mac & cheese, bacon, hot link, and cheese. The hot link element, made it punch so hard with flavor and the perfect amount of spice that makes you aware of its presence, but is not overwhelming. Job Well done!

We love this place, but there have been some issues recently. We got two long, wavy hairs in our ribs one time, then the next time there was a piece of metal in our beans. When brought to the attention of the owner, he did not seem to care. He just said that they'd 'be more careful'. If I would have swallowed that piece of metal, I could have been hospitalized. I don't know why they are going down hill right now, but be careful when eating their food.

For me this is the BEST BBQ place!!! When I go back to Florida for vacation, I'm going to have to hunt down someplace & see if THEY are better...I have my doubts! Their ribs are meaty & fall off the bone every time. Their pulled pork is phenomenal. Their custom in house sandwiches are amazing. The potato salad tastes like my Mom makes & I'd have to fly 3000+ miles to get that! Their smoking mac n cheese is astounding. Their BBQ sauce? YES! Everything I want in a BBQ sauce is right here at Danny's BBQ. The employees are on top of their game with always being nice, courteous, attentive, & thorough. I wish I could eat there everyday!!! When I do go to get food, I always get a rib plate, either a Danny's sandwhich or a Da Bomb, at least side of Mac n Cheese, & a big container of potato salad. I understand that everybody has a different flavor when it comes to BBQ, but this place nails mine of the head. I definitely recommend this place if you want excellent quality & flavor. November, cold outside. Dinner, dine in. 1st time here. The dine in area is very small about 5 tables, 4 chairs each, very close together. At least 2 larger picnic tables outside under an overhang. Order front at the front desk. Limited options, a few meals , sides and individual sandwiches. Front counter lady was pleasant. The food was really good flavored. Two meals and my wife shared some of each. One rib meal and one brisket meal. The ribs were good, only 4 small ribs included with 2 sides and a slice of Texas toast. The brisket was very good and a little larger portion of meat, plus 2 sides and toast. We tried 3 different sides: beans (good flavor), coleslaw (good flavor) and grilled zucchini and peppers (interesting flavor. Texas BBQ meats and then a Carolina vinegar sauce veggie sauté). Both of us did not like the very dry Texas toast. Also a note on the BBQ sauce. It was good , however, there was only one choice. A lot of BBQ pits offering than one BBQ sauce.Final observation, the beverage options are very limited. Bottled teas, Wal-Mart bottled water. No refillable fountain drinks. Overall, good flavor, smaller portions than other BBQ pits, but worth eating at.

Also, the Mac and Cheese was to die for. The only thing I wish was that the cornbread was not so dry, but other than that, no complaints. Amazing food! Literally the portions are great. My husband and I paid $56 for three meals which came with portion of meat and two sides with Texas toast. Food is good. We have been two times now and have no complaints on the quality or flavor of food. The peppers and zucchini are a must and the cornbread is dense but not dry. Taking a star off because: wait times are usually longer than quoted and the “1.5 pound TNT Burrito” was about 4oz shy even with the wrapper on.

As a fat man that eats most anything. This was the absolute worst bbq Ive ever had. I had the brisket meal... the most expensive plate on the menu and it was horrible. The mac n cheese was flavorless and way over cook. I ended up throwing both side of it I order away. The brisket had a lack of seasoning and had tasted like meatloaf with pepper. I ended up giving it to my neighbor's dogs. This was the most expensive meal Ive thrown away... way way overpriced! This was the worst restaurant food Ive had in years

Honestly some of the Best BBQ in the area, BUT if you’re going in for something small like a small Mac-n-cheese (8oz container) CALL AHEAD!!!!If you go in and order this one small item on the go and there are six, seven orders before yours you can guarantee those will be filled before scooping that Mac and giving it to you. I had to wait for them to fill three orders AND three cater trays before getting my 8oz of Mac.Aside from the way they do that, great bbq!!!

Mac and cheese is delicious. It was probably the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. It was smoky and cheesy. The macaroni wasn't mush but it also wasn't undercooked. It was for me the highlight of the meal.Pulled pork is delicious, very tender, very fatty. Pulled apart into just the right size.The cornbread was rather underwhelming compared to the other 2. I mean it was fine, a little dry a little homegenous. But the flavor was pretty good.I wish I had stayed for the flan that was arriving latter but regardless it was a great bbq experience.One last note and I mean it wasn't a huge deal but that was not Texas toast. That was white bread that was toasted a bit. There was no garlic and if there was butter it was so mild to not be tasted.

Great BBQ. Love the ribs, the pulled pork, hot links and chicken. Hmmm that's like most of the menu. This is our 'on the way home' stop after a long day of big-box store shopping in Silverdale, and something we certainly look forward to. A bit outta central Silverdale, but not by much. Delicious food! Not a lot on the menu, but that has not stopped us from going back time and time again. Pulled pork and brisket are mouth watering, for sides try the mac n cheese and beans. Be sure to order as soon as possible, they run out of food. Due to COVID we have only done take out which is good, dine in area seems a bit small. They do have some outdoor seating. Wait time is a bit longer than they say it is, but worth it to me.

Boy the smell of the smoker and those succulent juices wafting on the wind will make the hungriest of men hungrier! You won't be disappointed in the offerings either. A little off perfect, but dam close. The rubbed meat is smokey with only the slightest need for any sauce/flavor added. It'd been nice to have had a restroom at my disposal for hand washing and the like, but otherwise this little jem is hard to beat!

So i tried this place today with my aunt. This place advertised it as texas BBQ, but this is far from Texas BBQ. The order was wrong, the "Texas toast" they have is just regular white bread, their pulled pork was dry and the bun was so wet from the coleslaw that was next to it, it was literally falling apart, the mac 'n cheese was also really really dry. Really disappointed since the guy who worked their was talking about how texans seem to really enjoy it and as a texan I cant see that actually being the case. On a scale its a solid 3/10. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The gift certificate was to choose any 4 sandwiches: pulled pork, chopped brisket, hot links, The Bomb (sausage, pork, bacon & cheddar cheese) or The Brick (chopped brisket, mac & cheese and roasted jalapeño).We ordered the pulled pork, chopped brisket, The Bomb (without sausage links because they were out) and The Brick.The place is really small, but we were able to get a table. I'm sure other customers must have thought we were gluttons sitting there with 4 sandwiches at our table of 3. My son grabbed the chopped brisket, my lady grabbed the pulled pork and that left me to deal with The Bomb and The Brick all on my own. My son finished his sandwich as usual. I was able to finish The Bomb since it had no sausage and we took The Brick home and some of the pulled pork sandwich my lady couldn't finish.All in all, this was really good BBQ. We're fans and are looking forward to going back and trying other things like the sausage, the ribs and the corn bread as paying customers. It always bugs me that BBQ places are always out of something. I understand the business model of BBQ, so I can't complain too much. It's better to run out than have stuff at the end of the day I guess.I also wished they had maybe a couple more choices in sauces, I only saw the one. The one they have is really good, but it's nice to have a variety.

I rated Danny's as my fave sandwich in the area. The third time I received a sandwich with mixed meat, I decided that I wouldn't go there anymore. I called and said no problem the second time.. third time I called because I didn't eat the food after I noticed, non-beef in my brisket, I called twice and never received a call back after leaving two messages with employees. Such a shame, they do have good ribs, but as I told owner the second time this happened, it isn't right to not know what you are eating, what if I had a problem eating pork? Or chicken?

Sides were a little hit or miss, the potato salad was on point, but the coleslaw had a slightly fruity taste I didn't expect (maybe it's a Texas thing?) The smoked Mac and cheese was also pretty good. The real highlight was the actual meat. The ribs literally fell off the bone and the pulled pork was damn bear perfect. It even got the thumbs up of approval from my southern fiance who's been missing real bbq for a while. Definitely going back!

A definite improvement over the old Danny's BBQ. I had the brisket meal with corn bread and coleslaw. The brisket is tasty and a better quality of meat than Smoky Robinson's BBQ. The coleslaw is a nice slightly sweet that reminds me of a good southern coleslaw. The cornbread was also slightly sweet but I would have liked it to be a little moister. Overall the serving size was generous and I enjoyed the meal. Give these new owners a try!So stopped in again and the wife and I tried the chicken meal and it was excellent. The wife loved the zucchini and peppers and it was a very generous side. A definite improvement on the moistness of the corn bread. 5 star quality. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

All you have to do is drive past this place to know it's good. You can see the smokers right in front of the restaurant. That's what drew me in and I was not disappointed.There is not much room to sit but I assure you it's worth it. Omg I've driven past this restaurant for years and today finally stopped to get ribs and a pulled pork sandwich. This is restaurant easily has the best ribs I've ever had and one of the best pulled pork that I've ever tasted. I've had some of the best BBQ while living in Memphis and on my travels from North Carolina to Missouri but Danny's is what I called world class. Easily superior. I'm not sure how many rewards this restaurant has but they deserve them all.

Wait times can be significant during peak hours due to small staff size, but the food is well worth the wait.Inside there are 4 smallish tables (4 tops) and a bar with stools set up by the windows, outside seating consists of two picnic tables that can comfortably fit 8 people. These folks really know BBQ. They have a quaint little dine-in area and they have outdoor seating ad well. The customer service here is really great too. They really have perfected the brisket and the ribs are like butter...so tender and the meat falls off the bone. I have eaten here many times and have not been disappointed at all. I also get orders to go and they travel and reheat well. I am thinking of using them for catering this summer for an event. Ooh, they have also nailed the BBQ sauce too.

Great food, in my opinion, best BBQ around. Sometimes there is a wait, but the food is worth it. Also, the staff is great. I have never had bad service.
